My Design Values

Usable

Design should make software feel easy and intuitive. In order to ensure my designs are usable, I spend a significant amount of time speaking with users and iterating to solve their problems.

Natural

Design should give user a sense of familiarity, products and websites should feel like second nature. This means no insane scroll hijacking, no 3d portals, and always accounting for accessibility. It is important to find a balance between freedom and constraint.

Delightful

I love to find small, sometimes hidden ways to delight users in my designs. Good design should bring your users joy, which also keeps them coming back for more.

Aspirational

I prefer to work on products that push the boundary of what is possible. Remember, every obvious idea has already been done, you want people to think you are a little bit crazy.
