The Lifetime Project

Friend Street is a holding company designed to cultivate and operate a diverse range of businesses over a lifetime. Each venture builds on the lessons of the previous one, fostering continual growth and refinement in the entrepreneurial journey.

At its core, Friend Street embodies a fresh, experimental approach to entrepreneurship. It operates in phases, much like a college curriculum, but with real-world applications and tangible outcomes. Through this evolving process, I aim to not only learn from each chapter but to refine a model for long-term entrepreneurial success*

I'll be documenting my journey on my blog, sharing insights and strategies. My hope is that by charting this path, I can inspire others to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams with confidence, using this approach as a blueprint for their own success.

*Success in this context means, small profitable businesses, rather than a big venture raise or exit.

1 Design Studio

Friend Street Studio is a product and web design practice that helps early stage companies look and feel like established companies. We especially love to work with companies that focus on community, friendship, and nature.

2 Physical Product

Friend Street Rugs is a modern take on the nostalgic and much loved "road rug" we all had as kids. Using real, hyperlocal landmarks, children can learn about their surroundings while playing at home.

This phase is not underway yet. Learnings from phases 1-3 will inform the problem that needs a solution.

4 Cafe, Brewery & Co-Working

Eventually, Friend Street will open a gathering space for our community to work on important projects. We'll also serve great coffee, food, and beer. Hopefully we will also have things like saunas and cold plunges and a great tree lined patio.
